Pumpkin Pie Shake

TGIF.

Like, for reals. I can’t tell you how excited I am for the weekend. I just want to sleep.

And eat shakes.

We hit 72 degrees yesterday, and that makes me just crave shakes, sunglasses, and sandals.

But guess what?

This shake is actually good for you! Even better!!

Instead of using ice cream, I used greek yogurt and a frozen banana. It’s a super trick that gives you that thick creaminess in a normal shake, but with half the calories.

I knew you’d like that.

Check out my peanut butter drizzle. Perfect.

Pumpkin Pie Shake
makes 1 creamy, thick, super yummy shake

1 container plain greek yogurt

1/4 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup pumpkin puree

1 date

1 frozen banana

1/4 cup to 1/2 cup coconut milk (depending on how thick or liquidy you like your shakes)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1 tablespoon maple syrup

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. If the shake is too thick add a little more milk slowly until you get the consistency you like. Pour in to a glass or bowl. Top with a spoonful of creamy peanut butter and some cereal for crunch.

Frozen banana shakes are pretty awesome, also I like the pumpkin addition in there. You would need to share this if I was there-root canal or not! Steph- I see the comments, so do not keep that topper a secret. Inquiring minds want to know! Enjoy the weekend!

Its 75 here right now, I can’t wait to get out of work & enjoy this SUN! This shake looks and sounds insane! I love the cereal for crunchy. There is no way to go wrong with a healthy pumpkin pie shake! Awesome recipe!

I don’t even care that you made a pumpkin shake in March because I LOVE PUMPKIN. I will eat it 24/7, 365 days of the year. I love that frozen banana trick. So smart!
