Happy Cinco de Mayo!
I made you breakfast!
Totally meant to kick off your nacho eating, margarita drinking, churro snacking day.
I think I could make this my new go-to breakfast.
And I have a feeling you won’t put up any arguments.
This is the best way to get in a boost of nutrients, some A+ calcium, and a little whole grain action to help curb all of the greasy, cheesy, stuffed to the max, incredible Mexican dishes that are about to be devoured today. Like, all day. Right?

Strawberry Breakfast Margarita
makes one perfect breakfast margarita
1 container Lemon Chobani
1/3 cup rolled oats
1/2 lime, juiced
1 teaspoon lime zest
1 teaspoon lemon zest
4 strawberries
1/2 orange
green sugar colored sprinkles
In a bowl combine yogurt, oats, lime juice, lime zest, and lemon zest.
In a blender or magic bullet, blend the strawberries and orange together. Pour strawberry mixture in to yogurt bowl and mix until combined. Refrigerate for an hour.
Run the unused lime half over the rim of a jar or glass and dip rim in a bowl that’s been filled with green sprinkle. Carefully spoon strawberry margarita yogurt in to jar. EAT!

yep, this could be my new breakfast too… with a churro dipped in? YUM.
Now that’s what I’m talking about!
YUM!
OK…so there is no tequila cause I was worried…worried I would take the word ‘breakfast’ and allow myself to forget the word ‘tequila.’ I made my favorite margarita this week to post yesterday. Except that my schedule got crazy and I didn’t make it until yesterday morning. Yes, I sipped that cocktail WITH tequila after getting a couple of photos and let me tell you…I could have downed that sucker for breakfast too. I didn’t…nope I waited til 5pm or rather til it was 5pm somewhere.
OL! Yeah I should have said “margarita” not margartia…to elude to the idea of the incredible tequila drink
What a fantastic breakfast! Love all the yummy things in this!
Aee the oats cooked already or raw?
The oats are raw. I know it sounds cfazy, but when they’re added in to the yogurt they get soft on their own
What a beautifully refrshing breakfast my friend
Love it!
Cheers

This sounds so delicious! What a yummy breakfast.
This looks fantastic! I love smoothies for breakfast…especially during the workweek when I’m looking for something that travels. Definitely adding this to my list of morning foods for the week
Oh this is just the way I want to start my day! It sounds perfect.
You would make a margarita for breakfast, I love it!
Very lovely drink and a great way for a breakfast on the go.
