I feel like the Easter bunny and am scrambling around to get everything ready for this weekend [oh wait…see I’m thinking of the Alice In Wonderland Bunny…ugh I need more help than I thought]
I have a few fun ideas that I want to do this Easter and thought that I’d share them with you, in case you’re looking for some fun activities or Easter basket fillers.
Leading up to Easter I want to do some crafts with the kids. And I know we’re only a few days away, but I think I can still do some of these next week, since they’ll still be in the Easter spirit.
To keep Logan’s little hands busy: Paper Egg Cutting
Of course we need a keepsake of those little hands: Chick Hand Prints
And how cute are these little birds nest [that we can eat!]: Bird Nest Cookies
To get some extra uses out of all those plastic eggs. here’s some great ideas:
Working those stacking and balancing skills: Egg Towers
And who can resist a little Easter science! Fizzing Eggs
Since I really don’t want the kids to eat all the jelly beans: Jelly Bean Stem Activity
Here’s a fun way to burn some Easter energy: Energy Burning Egg Hunt
For the Easter baskets I found some fun gardening tools and gloves in the Target Dollar Spot for Logan. And I got Holly some pink girly plates, since everything we have is boy, boy, boy! I got Logan this SUPER CUTE diffuser bracelet to put his oils in to wear throughout the day, I seriously think I’m most excited about this gift! But also thought that Trolls Movie would be a fun Easter movie — the message here is just the.best. I got Holly some wooden slice and sort eggs. I picked up a few Christian books, since we’re trying to focus more on having family bible and devotional time. One Year Devotions for Preschoolers and The Baby Bible Boardbook.
What’s going in your Easter baskets this year?!
