The last year I have been incorporating HIIT workouts in to my weight workouts. I do this as a way to blast my heart rate, at home, since I don’t go the the gym and have access to cardio machines. And boy-oh-boy let me tell you I can see such .a huge change in my body.
So, let me give you a run down of how my workouts go:
W: Arms and HIIT
Th: Legs[focusing more on the booty] and HIIT
F: Arms and run
S: Long run
This is kind of the “schedule” that I follow when figuring out what body parts to work and when. It’s been something that’s worked for me for a while now, and I like splitting up body parts and giving them a little more concentration than just doing a full body workout each day.
I usually do my entire weight workout — 6 sets of supersetted exercises [so that’s really 12 different moves], throwing in some ab work. Then, for my HIIT days, I will do some type of HIIT workout after I finish with my weights. I know a lot of you are stumped when it comes to HIIT workouts, so I wanted to share some of my favorites with you. And actually, here’s my secret, I get them all of YouTube. I do a lot better if I have a video to follow along to, keeping me on track.
