33 goals for this year of 33

June 26, 2017

Yep.

I turned 33 last Friday, and I have to admit, it’s not as scary as my 25 1/2 year old self would have thought. I actually feel a lot more secure with myself, have a lot more confidence, and am starting to feel like I’m settling in to the actual experience of life.

But, with a new age year, it’s fun to set fun little goals and hope/wish/work for growing a little more internally, and not just externally….hello gray hairs sprouting up and wrinkles in the corner of my eyes.

So, here’s 33 things for my year of 33 [and these aren’t in any particular order].

  1. Run a marathon
  2. Take a photography class
  3. Do a paint and wine class with my mom
  4. Make a personal recipe book
  5. Take a girls trip
  6. Create and store family home movies
  7. Get a facial [or two]
  8. Start doing more yoga
  9. Get certified to teach a fitness class
  10. Grow a deeper bible study group
  11. Live one day a week without social media
  12. Get in a routine of budgeting and cash envelopes [because this 33 year old needs to grow that savings account]
  13. Memorize 24 verses of scripture
  14. Take a hubby/wife ONLY vacation
  15. Read 24 books
  16. Bible Journal
  17. Print out the photos on my phone and actually frame them/make photo books
  18. Wooooo my husband more
  19. Make a raised garden bed
  20. Make a pottery piece
  21. Call friends more and send more letters in the mail
  22. Baby #3
  23. Organize my house and clear out the clutter
  24. Volunteer in the community
  25. Walk with friends
  26. Have a living room camp out
  27. Pray everyday with my Husband
  28. Encourage someone once a week
  29. Take the kids on a surprise adventure
  30. Relax in a bath once a month [I’m so not a bath person]
  31. Roll down a hill at the park
  32. Laugh at more things, and offer up more humility
  33. Enjoy more cake….I only live once
