Wellness Wednesday

August 2, 2017

I know, I know…I always start these weekly things and then I don’t follow through. But I promise this time, I’m sticking to it.

Let’s not even talk about why I want to start a Wellness Wednesday series. I hope that the intent is obvious.

I want to kick it off though, with a talk about something super simple. Cleaners. Hi, I am totally a mom, and I want to talk to you about cleaning products. Did you know that the average household contains 62 toxic chemicals. And the biggest factor isn’t that we’re exposed to this in big blasts at a time, but more so that the small exposure over a prolonged period of time. Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly. They start to add up.

We have recently switched to a non-toxic cleaner that does the trick of so many other cleaners, and it’s all in one bottle. Thieves Household Cleaner! Yup. Just need this one bottle to do almost all of the cleaning around the house.

There’s two other reasons, besides the reduction of chemicals, that I love about Thieves. #1 Logan can now help me with the cleaning! Which he loves, and hey, I’m totally not going to turn down an extra set of dusting and wiping hands. And I don’t have to worry that if he gets this on his hands, then goes and eats his fruit snacks or apple, that he’s spreading chemicals in to his food. #2 the smell of this cleaner is like fall spiced chai mixed with a little quirt of refreshing lemon [and I mean, aren’t we all on the fall countdown now!! How do you say no to fall flavors?]

If you’re trying to save a few bucks here and there, Thieves is also such an incredible value buy! Because you’re able to use this one bottle for most of your cleaning, and from this one bottle you can make 14-16 BIG spray bottles of cleaner!! Bonkers, seriously. My bottle of Thieves Household Cleaner last me about 5-6 months before I have to replace it.

If you’re interested in trying out Thieves for your own home! I’d love to send you a sample or get you some more information!! Send me an email at stephsbitebybite@gmail.com
